Babies are the cutest! Often, in our excitement to talk to them, we teach them words, hoping that they’d copy what we say. Here are videos I collected from YouTube showing how a baby made parents happy by saying “I Love You” [or at least that’s how we really want to perceive what the baby said.]
This 3-month-old baby is pretty straight forward in saying what he wants to say. He says ”
Jessie here is like “you don’t have to tell me twice, mom! I love you too!”
This cute 8-week-old took a little why to say “I Love You.” He is obviously enjoying his conversation with mom, but somehow, when he finally blurted out the much awaited sentence, he seemed to be wondering why his mom is so happy.
This baby tells quite a story while mom plays peek-a-boo. His “I Love You” is quite audible, but after saying it, he was like “don’t make me say it again!” when his mom attempts to make him repeat.
Dads teach babies to say “I Love You”
Often, moms would be the moms to teach babies words. When dads do it, and babies follow, dads look like the most accomplished people in the world.
This dad is particularly ecstatic when his baby finally mimics his “I Love You.”
Dad is just cool and collected, but baby’s got a lot to say. When dad finally says “I Love You,” this talkative bundle of joy can’t seem to resist copying.
This baby seems to be totally happy with his dad’s kisses and tickles, that as a reward, he goes “I Love You!” Dad can’t get enough of it!
It’s heaven to hear our babies say “I Love You” back, and I really want to believe that even if they do not know the lexical meaning of the words, they know the feeling.
